Interesting comments.
Having attended and paid for lunch as a non-member...
1. Dean-o did make a comment that "locals" may still have a perception
that AP can NEVER come back. There is right. That is "old" locals. Like
me. But I always believed. I'll still be believing. But some of us here
are from the dead NY MET years and Tug McGraw (gone).
2. Yesterday, walking up the boardwalk from 4th ave, there were 3 Dark
Blue Fords with some big boys in full undercover gear. 2 cars had dogs
in the back with neat little air units/fans for them. There was also 2
more undercover cars behind them. NOt sure what happened or where they
were heading, but they were dressed for business.
