Man, that thing was the best. I remember sitting for what seemed like
hours (probably was only 15 minutes) for the sketch artist in the
Casino arcade for a single portrait he was doing of my brother, sister
and me. He would only do one of us at a time, so while I had to sit
still in an agonizingly uncomfortable position, the other two were off
riding the Mad-O-Rama or bumping around the hall of mirrors. The second
the sketch guy was done, I ran right into the fun house and headed for
that tube. I was also too short at the time and I have no idea why I
didn't crack my skull every time I went in there. I'd probably be bored
with Great Adventure now, but back then, that silly tube was like Oz. :)
