Personally speaking I don't have any problems with the weekends events,
however, I could see how the business' may have a problem with losing the foot
traffic, but in the same breath, there were people there

So now I have to ask, since I didn't go up to CH on friday.......

If I wanted to grab some Clams from Biggies, would I have had to pay to
admission to get to Biggies?

All good. But you should not close a public area and then charge the public
just to be there. It is fundamentally wrong no matter the purpose. My street,
my park, my beach.
