Some of the greatest lessons in life I learned on the football field of a great
high school team (ranked #6 in the US in my senior year). Sports have changed
many people's lives for the better. More often than not, a person really
involved on a high level with a good caliber sports team in high school will
have little time for anything else. Keep kids interested in sports, theater or
anything that gives them direction. That's the key. I know guys that would have
been in jail had they not gotten involved in sports.
