Hello Chandan da:
I too agree and have always been advocating for this for a long time. In fact, one of the reasons, for simple folks like us not aligned with any one of the organizations is that we have far too many affiliations floating around.
You do state good some reasons, but I kind of like what I think Jugal was referring to: ie: These organizations have done a lot of good things in the past - and now its time for them to go.
In the past, whenever I have broached this with some of our leaders - the response has always been - "we are getting there - all this takes time" etc, etc. However, I suspect that this is the same sort of tripe that we have been dished out for the last so many years.
I would hazard a suggestion: We have only one organization, and have a number of wings to this, each dealing with Charity, Annual Conventions/Conferences, Publicity, etc, etc. I am sure someone has already suggested something like this.
This has an added value in making sure that many more people could contribute to the unity (and strengthening). I am sure you already see the flaws here - feel free to point them out.
regards, Ram Sarangapani
