Generally true - except for the chicken, ducks etc - they are not vegitarians ( of course they are strictly birds and not animals). Fish are not vegitarians either and nor are frogs in France. Further, in Texas we have the great Rattle Snake Roundups every year - where rattlers are displayed, prizes won, quartered, eaten, and made into shoes. Maybe for large animals the West would like to stick to the grass-eaters. In the West (I have heard this), snakes are not eated because its considered a Bibilical evil - banished from the heavens. Thats the same they are killed & disliked.
