This is not because noone wants to answer, just because noone knows it. ;) It seems that there is no zam locale for glibc [1]. This can be a big problem for Linux. Hopefully, you can easily create the locale (just ask Claude Paroz <[email protected]> for credentials, use some similar locale as a pattern and put it in glibc bugzilla [2]). The whole procedure can take several months (until the new version of glibc will be released. The advantage is that after all you can translate a bunch of FOSS solutions not asking what to do. You can try to install your MO file with other translations on other platforms (Windows, OS X). If you are lucky, it will work (however, do not forget to send your translation to this list then ;) ).
