Re: CVAA Accessibility Rules Now In Effect
I agree with 73 on that one. Also, ianhamilton_, you say I'm calling you a lier. I don't consider anything I've posted on here as calling you a lier, merely explaining (or trying to explain) why I feel the way I do, and simultaneously describe why I don't think the CVAA will be (or has been) as successful as you believe it to be and have been. You say that my commentary is harming the gaming industry; I heavily doubt that. Considering that you see reviews of games that are far harsher, are incredibly destructive, and incredibly rude... yeah..... o thanks. I'd think 30-40 reviews and 50 downvotes on a game that says, "This game is a peace of shit," would be far, far more harmful to the gaming industry than one man (me) attempting to tell you that the CVAA is not a fix for accessibility, that NDAs make me wary (since I can't verify your veracity), and that I can't trust it because it was created by an organization that can't even do its job properly. Jace already pointed out many things I've been trying to say, in, hopefully, nicer terms than I have been doing.
@stirlock, no, I won't delete my account. My posts have not *always been combative*, as you put it. I've always tried to make some kind of point about the subject I'm talking about when I post. Have I failed many times? Yes. But you have no right, under any circumstance, to silence me. Are you attempting to negate my rights under the first amendment, good sir? If so, I wish you luck, because you will fail.
