Thanks Phil, common sense as usual. Perhaps membership would suggest speakers with which the Squeeky DS could usefully be paired.
But the decision to include the 20w amps was odd. Why not leave them out and reduce the cost? Answer: because the production costs would not be much lower. A 20w power amp costs very little, the expense would be in the case. Its seems the 20w power amp is a marketing ploy - anyone serious about the use of the Squeeky DS will use external power amps or active speakers. I do hope the power section can be independently turned off to prevent the powwer section cooking the line level components.
