I think John S ripped one open and pionted out the key design
improvement vs the SB2/3 and one can asume that reciever is similar to
that, there is no pictures thou. Old tread , and there was improved
circiut design. I think there was some clock improvements too, but I
have never seen any pico seconds figure or other measurments side by
side. Stereophile tested and measured the Touch , did they ever do the
same with SB3 ?

They are to many ways to measure, the magazines do it to differently to
compare. It would nice if they where measured the same way by the same
lab, then the relative difference could by pionted out.

It does not hurt that Touch actually does 24/96 where SB3/2 did 24/48
and has imho better network performance.
Transporter has a significant improvement as it can be clockslaved to a
DAC ( it has clock input ) without any DIY work.
