I have been using a Gbit switch close to the Touch for some time. I kind of agree with Phil - that the TT buffer shouldn't cause network issues. Maybe the Homehub was only just coping with 24/96 - I have had other problems with it (homehub) stalling on internet and/or networking so requiring a fairly frequent reboot.
