This is also my experience from the day one I got the Touch.

As much as I appreciate the sound coming from my Touch, I have always
had an issue with its flatness. The sound just doesn't have enough
depth, holography (with or without mods, both through analog or digital
outs). 
The second biggest complaint is that it is sounding a bit lean.

Guys, do you have the same impressions?
