And yes I also knew roughly how Hifi Stereo worked, and yes it was good in any speed (that I also didn't disagree with). I stated that there also existed some VHS decks that didn't use this form of "Hifi" stereo but still offered stereo sound using a two channel head in place of the standard mono linear audio head.
