seems to be still required. Note that I am starting a new aximx50 folder
in arch/arm/mach-pxa for x50/x51(v) family, as we talked about.
So the right line should be now :

set mtype "740"

None ! As I said, even the old 2.6.16 kernel was booting.
I am working on an equivalent 2.6.19 hh configuration now.
Of course, I'll commit it (aka send it to the mailing list ;-)) as soon
as possible.

In fact I do not understand : the X50 code patch I got from
http://x50v.imploder.org/?page_id=7 was clearly driving an ASIC3 !
Does anybody know why ?
I guess the port was uncomplete and this code was coming from an initial
copy/paste, but I may be wrong...
