Anyway, a first "structural only" kernel patch is almost ready for
X50/X51 family.
"Structural only" because as I do not understand why a lot of code is
ASIC3 based in the x50 code I got, I removed all that stuff.
If someone could explain to me why the x50 code was ASIC3 based, it
would be great...
I assume that's because most of the code has been copy-pasted from other
machines. I don't know how much Richard and Fisherss know about
kernel-coding who started the port, but at least my contributions were
my first steps in kernel programming and mostly trial and error. I'm
still busy for a few month - unless someone has already finished the
port :), I am going to do some more of that then ;-) .
