I've made some progress. The versions for BBDB 2.3x (CVS) + mew 3.0.51 (CVS) + emacs 21.1 are available: ftp://ftp.kippona.net/pub/gnu/emacs/elisp/ these are development versions, which may damage existing files, so make backups before using these. Nevertheless, please try them out and give me feedback.
