According to the source control servers, we've shipping this code

it been?
Interestingly I just checked via VNC (another way to quit that pesky
copy across town ... er, on the other side of the house) and I have
both copies running simultaneously on my network. It is running on my
MBP17 and it is also running on the Mini upstairs.
BTW there are a number of possible solutions to this that don't
involve walking, only creativity and a little knowledge.
1. Enable VNC on the various computers and then use a viewer to
access the computer when needing to remotely quit BBEdit.
2. Use terminal to log into the remote machine and quit BBEdit.
3. Write an AppleScript to tell BBEdit on the remote machine to quit.
At least two of these ought to be relatively easy for a moderately
skilled computer user.
