Further up-date After carefully examining the pedals they seemed fine, so I re- installed them. Clicking was gone!? Previously I changed the BB back to the original Shamino and swapped pedals to stop the clicking. So it had something the installation of the BB and cranks. thanks again for your suggestions Tom
