Greetings: What a beautiful sight - The moon rising near the Osprey nest. I am very pleased to report that I just saw Hunter and Junior. Dad was standing on the side of the nest and up popped two very fine looking youngsters. They are quite expert at "firing" their excrement a distance over the side of the nest. Just what everyone wanted to know on a Sunday evening!
I saw a first this evening - Tree Swallows were swooping at a passing Sharp-shinned Hawk. These little birds pursued the hawk until it left the boundary of the wetland. Most interesting to say the least. Maureen The wetland is located on the south side of County Road 64 as you are leaving Brighton. _________________________________________________________________ We are your photos.
