Agreed... _I_ don't really care anymore, since I've found gkrellm, it solves all of my problems (well, except for bbpager, and bbkeys is iconified). The whole : sleep n && program1 & sleep n+1 && program 2 & sleep n+n && program 3 & worked for me quite well when I was still using 10 different apps in my slit.
