Hello kenny
to my knollige there is no such thing as a voice activated computer if you mien a computer that is able to be activated by your voice and is usable for blind people. how ever there are several programs that make using the computer easier for the blind these are screen readers and the most popular screen readers are jaws for windows and window eyes. there are also a few open source screen readers like nvda and system access. I hope this helps. from Mich. ----- Original Message ----- From: "Kenny Johnson" <kennyjjohn...@gmail.com>

Subject: [Blind-Computing] new to blind computing and searching

hello, i am brand new to this type of group and to the whole subject of
blind computing. when i started searching for computers for the blind i was
surprised because I thought I would find a lot of great voice activated
computers that would make it easy... all i see so far are some clunky screen
readers....

can someone tell me what the best voice controlled computer for the blind
is?

thanks
kenny
