So what is the vertict on the nonbattery powered measures? Which one is good and should I buy it from maxyades? I once had a guy send me a long strip of dimo tape with braille l's or 4 5 6 lines and dots all down the linkth of it. The instruction was, buy a 4 foot metal ruler and stick this on it for measuring.. That was real cool... untill... The compound miter just cut right through it! hahahahahah oops! I had a few of those types of accidents. The best, was when it was the dead of summer, and I was making a cut with that same saw, and wham! The blade hit something and all the sudden I felt the rush of warm liquid! That's one of those in shock, stunned feelings, where you think, ok, the pain just hasn't caught up with the dismemberment yet. It's coming! Luckally though, I had only left my bottle of wood glue on the table of the saw and it was warm from the summer's heat. hahahahahah Thanks for the tip on the pliers for the battery of the talking ones. I will try that. I always just figured it was something inturnal which I couldn't hope to fix? It's not working as it is, so couldn't hurt to try this suggestion!
