And the fix you need is Duct tape. Don't settle for anything less than the real brand name though. That stuff works in NASCAR when they rip a big hole in the fender and they have winds going over them of 200 MPH and beyond. ----- Original Message ----- From: Scott Howell To: [email protected] Sent: Monday, November 26, 2007 7:25 PM Subject: Re: [BlindHandyMan] saws eating rulers
Well if we're going to talk about dumb things. Yesterday, I stupidly set my leafblower down on top of the bin I keep it stored in. I started the mower to square away the leaves I just blew into a pile and I didn't realize the damned blower fell over and into the path of the mower. Well I heard this nice cracking and crunching noise and then decided maybe that wasn't a stick. So, needless to say the blower is damaged in such a way it won't be blowing leaves or anything else with a big hole in its housing. I guess the only good thing is that first I didn't hit the fuel tank, that might have been interesting and secondly maybe I will finally find just a blower unit that is lighter and a little less nosy. Got to have gas here cause dragging cords around isn't an option. In the end it was pretty impressive what that mower did, but shows how cheap that plastic housing is after all.
