Thank you all very much for all the thoughts about tape measures. My Cobalt still sits here on my desk unusable
Many years ago, I had a Lufkin 6 foot tape measure that I bought from American Foundation for the Blind. In fact, I had two of them and they were wonderful. That was back in the sixties and seventies. I don't usually need to measure more than 6 feet. But they got broken and/or lost. Does anyone know about the availability of such a device now-a-days? If there is nothing, I will be forced to buy the 25 footer. But just don't like that extension on the case. My measuring (of less than 6 feet) need not be that accurate. Help?
