Ottawa Canada Dear Andrew and list:
The Infinite Boot Detector is a little program that tries to detect the BrailleNote or VoiceNote rebooting over and over but not making it all the way to the Main Menu prompt. If it senses too many reboots without making it to the Main Menu, it sets a flag preventing any further reboots! Once this flag is set, it can only be cleared by a Humanware service tech. Not sure why this function is provided, perhaps units sometimes go into an infinite reboot and it is best to disable all reboots than let the unit continue to do this. Brian Brian K.
