Hi all,
I just spoke with Gabe, Humanware technical support, and he said they are aware of the proplem and working with bookshare to resolve this. He doesn't know if the fix will come from them or bookshare. Bookshare just made this change in the past week and Humanware is hoping a fix will happen soon. But, with the holiday weekend, I think we need to be patient with both sides. I know this is impacting many of us, but I encourage you to either download books and unpack them on a computer or do something fun over this long weekend. I, too, am an avid reader and use bookshare almost daily, but again I think we need to give both sides time to resolve this issue.
Thanks,
Marsha

Hi,
Carlos said he called bookshare and they have made changes on
their end. That's why we are all having this problem. I plan to
call Humanware this morning to make sure they are aware of the
change on bookshare. My hope is they are aware and have started
to work on a fix!

Marsha Hi, I have been away from the list for a while and hope
someone can help with this problem. I have an Apex BT running
the latest version of keysoft. Over the past few days I have
downloaded several books that I can not unpack.
I get an error message after entering my password. It says,
unable to unpack book error code 9

Also, when I do an I chord for information it shows the file
size around 14 kb and the books I am able to unpack are usually
in the 100's.
I made sure I was downloading the brf books too.
Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Marsha
