I just tried downloading a book on to a jump drive that I know
works with my Apex. I still got the same message, error code 9.
Any other suggestions? I know I can do it on my laptop if I have
to, but it's so much faster and convenient on the Apex.

As alex has pointed out, the problem isn't in the Apex's ability
to unpack
the Bookshare files.
The problem is in downloading the books from Bookshare on the
Apex.
And, yes, it appears the issue is with Bookshare since this
problem has just
cropped up.

Is this happening with the mpower too, the problem unpacking
Bookshare
books. How appalling that is happening. Apexes should have the
ability
to unpack booshare books it's very true!

Marsha Hi, I have been away from the list for a while and hope
someone can help with this problem. I have an Apex BT running
the latest
version of keysoft. Over the past few days I have downloaded
several
books that I can not unpack.
I get an error message after entering my password. It says,
unable to unpack book error code 9
Also, when I do an I chord for information it shows the file
size around 14 kb and the books I am able to unpack are usually
in the
100's.
I made sure I was downloading the brf books too.
Any help would be greatly appreciated!
