Ok, double the "normal" priming sugar isn't all too serious. If we say
8g/l, that makes two volumes of CO2, plus the one that is in the beer at
room temperature. Double that, 16g/l, makes 4 volumes, with total
carbonation of 5 volumes. This is in the high end of some wheat beers,
but probably still within the tolerances of standard beer bottles...
But a few grams more, and I's take cover.
