Yes, that table has the right stuff, but only for a pretty limited range
of temperatures and pressures. It doesn't help much when speculating
about bottles exploding at room temperature, with some 12 atm pressure.

I guess you are right, as long as most of the CO2 will dissolve in the
beer, and the airspace is relatively small, compared to the volume of
the beer.

Easier, yes, but need much more sugar and much more water. On the other
hand, it would be easy to add the baseline CO2 and pressure... Maybe I
have a keg free after the festival...
