I put the route into Canal Planner - I think I got it all in:

Start/Finish: Stockton Top Marina
Intermediate Places: Fazeley Junction, Wolverhampton, Middlewich
Junction, Froghall, Wordsley Junction, and Worcester Bar

-- Heres a fun game, do the same route with less intermediate places
but still go along the same route, I didn't try very hard but I'm sure
someone can do better --

Using our usual settings - we are a very experience two man crew it came out as:

Total distance is 299 miles, ¾ flg and 331 locks. There are at least 6
moveable bridges; 40 small aqueducts or underbridges and 9 tunnels.

Made up of 255 miles, 4 furlongs of narrow canals; 43 miles, 4½
furlongs of broad canals; 280 narrow locks; 51 broad locks.

This will take 105 hours, 48 minutes which is 10 days, 5 hours and 48
minutes at 10 hours per day.

For calculation purposes, this is taken as 11 days

So you should be able to have a couple of days free :-) but don't
underestimate the amount of work involved. We managed going down
Hatton in 1 hour 50 minutes, most people think themselves lucky to do
it in less than 3 hours. You will need to be lucky not to get slow
boats, and queues and of course there is waiting time at Harecastle.

Have fun,

Mike
