Good as Canalplan maybe - it doesn't take into account:

a) other traffic
b) delays at locks
c) rubbish around the propeller
d) the need to go shopping

etc etc

Much much better to plan a shorter trip and enjoy an occasional
mooring deep in the country and a long lazy lunch break.
