No, as its not ebgp. With ibgp you can have 50 million hops to the
neighbour, but as long as there is a valid route (in both directions)
you are fine.
2- if we did not specify the value what would be the
default behavour.
Default value for ebgp multihop is 255. So always specify a value in
real life, but use your discretion in the lab!
