I am totally confused by your logic.  First I wasn't aware that you had a
personal relationship with Shinseki.  Please ask him to reconcile  the
announcement of his retirement (yes, he could have been asked to retire) long
before the war, and being fired for arguing about proper staffing levels on a
conflict 1.5 years later.  In fact, knowing that he was retiring probably made
it easier for him to disagree vocally.

And this has nothing to do with General Wesley Clark.  However, if you'd like
to talk about him, just start a new thread....
