I bet the discussion between the students and the school was very similar to
the discussion you and I have had regarding this.

we dont' want a club, we just want a place to meet

I think that i understand it being a bit of a gray area- when does a group
of students from a school, meeting with a teacher supervisor, in a room of
the school become a school group as opposed to a group of students meeting
in the room.   Its not quite clear.  I am glad at your school they were able
to work out the issues, and make everyone satisfied and feel there was a
fair solution.

I cant' believe your school didnt' provide PAPER for a school newspaper.  I
am thankful I lived in a horrible snotty but wealthy area growing up.  I
think extracirricular activities were the best part of school.  You should
see the monstrosities i made in art club!!

Nick, did the school have money for sports teams?
