Well *he* says he's been tortured. And I am not sure that the fact that we are feeding him makes up for keeping him in a cage and refusing to provide him with medical attention. This is a Canadian, not someone who was in danger of starving to death, tho I am not sure the argument holds even then.
Update to the case by the way -- he just now had a hearing that determined he was an enemy combatant -- fair enough, seems to be true based in the info we have. However -- wait for it -- he was not an *unlawful* enemy combatant, so the tribunal at Guantanamo can't try him. So he goes back into limbo for another few years?
