Perhaps! no doubt this would mean an improvement in his circumstances,
and ensure he is accorded some sort of human rights.

Not sure. Don't even know if he "claims" the Canadian citizenship. The
mother says she wants to leave. Don't like the current solution
though....

True, my bad. Saw it reported as a rock somewhere but you seem to be
right. Nonetheless. In his mind he was defendig where he lives from an
army that had just bombed the bejeesus out of the place.

Uh -- Canada is involved in that conflict. And I have not researched
the matter. I don't think I need to propose a sultuion to the mess the
Bushies have made when the best legal minds out there and straining
with the same problem.

His father was born in Pakistan apparently and went back, taking his
children with him, including those born and raised in Canada.
