Well that same prediciment faces all western societies. It's not like UK and
Canada are going to abandon their nationalised healthcare because the
projected costs are going to be high. As with all challenges it will need to
be overcome. I know in the UK the NHS is looking more towards preventative
medicine, which if done right will drastically reduce strain on the system.
