I'm talking about driving the track by him/herself - a brand new
driver could easily do that, and learn to do it in very little time
and do it at lap times consistent with a real race.

Now take a new driver, 14 year old say, and put him all by himself on
the Nurburing. Think he could pull an 8 minute lap Skyline? No way.
Not even close.

Thus the point is, a new driver can easily master the basic skills of
NASCAR but would take years to master the Nurburing.

Thus NASCAR is logistics sport while there are others that are driving
sports - like Japanese drifting for example.
