Yeah those Pikes Peak hill climb cars were utter madness, running about
800bhp at the bottom, losing about 200 by the time they got to the top due
to the thin air! Plus, you've gotta love that the Hill Climb was
predominantly won by American Indy 500 drivers (going in circles again)
until 85 when sexy little French Michelle Mouton came along in a German car
and beat the track record :-)

I think I remember one of them getting rather upset about it, Michelle
jesting 'well, if you have the balls for it you can race me back down
again?'... he declined lol
