You know Gruss, I'm all in favor of having a discussion on cost
regulation in the medical industry. It is a really important
discussion to have. But you keep pulling numbers out of thin air (to
put it politely) without any backing evidence. Go take a look at the
links that Robert posted about physician salaries. I didn't use those
myself because several of them are job posting/recruiting type places
which don't have the best numbers in my opinion, they tend to inflate
them, but not a single specialty on any of the links had an average
salary over a million. Only one of the links had a max reported salary
listed over a million (that was for a spine surgeon).

Lets, by all means, have a great discussion on cost containment
strategies. But before you go there, do some research and find out
actual numbe
