It's not and here's why: If two people are candidates for job position, both equally qualified and both perfectly capable, but one of them is selected solely because the hiring manager, say, doesn't like whitey then that's racism. In THIS case, the two people AREN'T equally qualified. The company has determined that it can sell more of product X if their sales people look like Y. In that case it's not any-ism, it's just business. Happens all the time in sales. Grandma Anny sells more cookies, fit people sell more exercise equipment. IF we say one quality is discrimination then all qualities are. Fat people can work at Bally's. Ugly people can be TV anchors. Dumb people can work in book stores. Of course all of that would be silly which is why it's not racism. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~| Want to reach the ColdFusion community with something they want?
