It's not and here's why:

If two people are candidates for job position, both equally qualified
and both perfectly capable, but one of them is selected solely because
the hiring manager, say, doesn't like whitey then that's racism.

In THIS case, the two people AREN'T equally qualified.  The company
has determined that it can sell more of product X if their sales
people look like Y.  In that case it's not any-ism, it's just
business.

Happens all the time in sales.  Grandma Anny sells more cookies, fit
people sell more exercise equipment.  IF we say one quality is
discrimination then all qualities are.

Fat people can work at Bally's.

Ugly people can be TV anchors.

Dumb people can work in book stores.

Of course all of that would be silly which is why it's not racism.
