There is that element...combat fatigue can make you do a lot of things that
you might not normally do when you are metally sound.  Whether this is just
stripping away the veneer of sanity and just revealing the inner psychopath
of this individual or it just really messed him up and he went into a rage
is another.  This is a direct result of having our troops stretched too thin
and forcing soldiers to have to deal with multiple deployments into combat
zones without proper downtime in between.  Some folks handle it
well...others don't.
