I have actually read the Bible...cover to cover....twice. The thing that struck me most was that Jesus was a pretty much a shit stirrer. He saw things happening in Jewish temples that mirror what is happening in a lot of 'Christian' churches today.
I can not help but think that if Jesus was around today, and did/said the same things he did as the Bible portrays, he would probably be excommunicated.
