There's no probably about it.

Jesus came the first time because his Father's message had been lost. "Love
your neighbor" had become "an eye for an eye". Jesus came to set the record
straight, to cut through all the red-tape BS that humans had applied to the
rather simplistic and pure message from God: Love one another.

In that vein, what do you think Jesus would say about, for instance, gay
marriage?

Church: "Jesus, should we deny equal rights to two people who love each
other, just because they are the same gender and we've concocted this set
of beliefs that determines you probably think they are sinners because they
can't make babies?"

Jesus: "Uh...how about...NO."

Church: "HERETIC!"
