That's what I did....well, i did the HSA, not the FSA. The HSA is nice,
provides the same pre-tax money, but then i'm not subject to the 1 year
limit of the FSA.....that money remains mine. The only stipulation to avoid
taxation and penalty is that it be spent on health related stuff...which is
pretty broad.

So that is a slight help. Shrinks my paycheck every time, but hopefully by
my first medical expense, i've got enough in there to at least help cover
it. It really comes down to this though: Don't get sick next year.
