Yep...text-to-speech and a Braille keyboard for input...*not*...

What I mean by not seeing any compelling features in recent versions
is that the apps I build, which are mostly just routine websites with
a site manager area for adding, updating, and deleting info, don't
call for any of the new features...at least none that I'm aware of.

Perhaps I just haven't looked hard enough...

Let me ask you...what feature in all the versions after 4.5 has
really changed the product that you create? Not *how* you create it,
but what the client actually uses? RIA's are a radical change
from the norm, but too much of a jump to have to use Flash, ActionScript,
etc.
(In other words, a whole new paradigm of development)

I see all the talk about CFC's and have some idea of what they are,
but they're still just means to the same end...right? An HTML interface
with the same old forms and refreshes to update data. Maybe I'm seeing
all this wrong...besides seeking solutions to problems, trying to see new
possibilities in CF is one reason why I read the messages on this list...

But again, and I'm really curious...has there been any feature(s) of recent
versions that
has revolutionized your end product and not just your development process?

Rick
