2. There is no option to use FTP/RDS in the save-as dialog box:
This means that to save & upload to another site/location other than the
site currently chosen, you have to first save it to the corresponding
location in the local root folder of that site, then switch to that site's
definition in the files window to "put" the file. This can require a few
extra steps which I can see being a pain if you need to save the same file
to several sites often.

Uh... yeah Vern - it's a few extra steps. Best practice 101 for you here.
I have a "live" site with "production" code, a "pre-production" site with
"pre-production" code and a "test" site with "test" code. So... you are
saying if I spec out a change in a query, I have to go and change the query
on test then test it - switch sites to pre after copying into pre... load
test pre .... switch sites to live after copying to live .. then verify.
Seem convoluted to you? Is it your impression that most of your customers
make changes on live sites all the time? What are they doing? HTML? The
code base of a complex application or site involves more than "content".
Your steps cause us problems and lost productivity - not to mention that you
have taken away common functionality that we have depended on and become
accustomed to. What if the next version of MS word said "hey we got all
these great new features! ... but we've taken away the ability to choose
your own font." Word will still function as always, but a lot of folks
would be pretty ticked off I bet.
