Ive got to say that 65k for a CCNP in the DC market,
as originally quoted, seems low to me. I'm one and
I make significantly more.  One way to bear out my
position is to go to dice.com and search for CCNP and DC
or CCNP and VA.  You will see that in DC the average
rate is closer to 80k....with experience up to 100k.

Now, a CCIE can....with some experience start at
90k and pretty rapidly bounce around til they hit
130k in a short period of time...1-2yrs?
