That is amazing!! Was this guy on a work visa or based already from
where you are at??

I actually worked with a crew of overseas Oracle DBAs/developers that were
supposed to be doing Oracle work on a huge migration project. The team I
was on, we were the NT engineers responsible for deploying the servers. One
guy in the NT side of things that was a lead, actually studied up a little
on oracle before the project began.. funny thing is, the Oracle DBAs kept
asking this guy questions about configuring the oracle database....

And from what I remember, it should have been simple tasks for people with
even little experience on Oracle.

I am not saying that all overseas IT staff here are like that, I have seen
many IT staff from overseas that were amzing, but I have also seen paper IT
staff from overseas that were just a waste of money.

Of course, this was during the top of the supposedly IT shortage, so I am
not sure if companies are going to be foolish enough to bring people from
overseas anymore that cannot do even the simplest task.
