we know the problem exist. My question is how we could minimize this? How
many users we have on this list. If all of us write to Cisco and/or to
Prometric Testing center, will it be enough to bring their attention to the
said issue.

Any other suggestions????

|I think fraud, corruption, and cheating are just general
|problems in all
|facets of society, the only real difference being how much.
|From those who
|cheat on their college entrance exams, to those who claim academic
|credentials and work experience they do not have, to those who obtain
|multiple fake 'identities' in order to scam the government out
|of multiple
|welfare checks or who hide their identity in order to avoid
|paying taxes,
|this kind of behavior is endemic in all societies.
|
|As far as cheating on certs goes, we should not be surprised
|at the fact
|that it happens. Rather, we should be surprised that it
|doesn't happen more
|often. If you try to defraud the government, you can go to
|jail. But if
|you fake your way to a cert like the CCIE, what's going to
|happen to you?
|Not much - you might lose your job, but it is fairly likely
|that if you had
|told the company that you did not have the cert, you wouldn't
|have gotten
|the job anyway. So what exactly is the incentive to play it honestly?
